Everyone I talk to has some kind of errand or life-risking request of me-- why me?! These people need too much. Even the local guards had something to ask me to do for their count that I don't care about. I ignored that one.
There are some perks to doing odd-jobs for people on Leyawiin, though. For example, a particularly rich woman just gave me a staff. And not just any staff. A Daedric staff! I can't get it to do anything, but it was free. And as a bonus, I have four scamps following me everywhere now! I'll never be lonely again! I can get angry and kill them all I want and they keep coming back. Isn't that sweet of them?

So I'm standing in jail, listening to some bastard dunmer try to scare me in the cell across from me, when the Emperor and Blades come walking through my cell and use it as an escape route. The Emperor looked at me and said "You are the one from my dreams!" (and I was thinking "Yeah, I get that a lot, hun") and... long story short, I got to follow them out of jail.

The Emperor started telling me that I had a special fate and I alone had to... do something of importance, I wasn't really paying attention. Then he gave me the Amulet of Kings before this assassin CAME OUT OF THE WALL and cut him down. Then I ran in circles for my life because the guy was chasing me because he wanted the amulet, but then this cool redguard Baurus ran over and screamed "FOR THE BLADES AND THE EMPERAHHHH" and stabbed him and then I realized "ooooh... shit, the Emperor's dead." I expected Baurus to start crying for a minute there but then he was cool about it and told me what to do.

I was supposed to go to Weynon Priory, but that place is drab as hell and I'm really confused and dirt poor. I guess the prison guards stole my money. So, I'm going to Leyawiin instead until I get back on my feet. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my freedom yet, but I've heard some rumors about a door appearing out of no where. It's mysterious. And mysterious things always have treasures! So I'll get money again.

And maybe fix this damn amulet with it. It keeps falling off my neck when I put it on; I think the clasp's broken or something.
